The Basic Form of Partnership

Since i’m a social guy myself and find no trouble making new friends at all cost, all my life i’ve been focusing my effort to master my organization skills. From my music days to business school to corporate jobs, all about connection and working with other people.

I post this ramblings since my good friend forward a job opportunity at the local web design company. The job offers 1/5 my monthly paycheck with a super long job qualification to fill the position. I was like, why would anyone with that list of skills, apply to a job, which they can do it by themselves and make money 5 times bigger?

The key is, people want to have partner, security blah blah blah. By joining an organization that each departments can do it’s own assignments, surely will make it easier for web designers to find a job so they can focus their work on design & programming tasks.

Since i’m a social guy myself and find no trouble making new friends at all cost, all my life i’ve been focusing my effort to master my organization skills. From my music days to business school to corporate jobs, all about connection and working with other people.

But i never get bigger pay off before i decided to work on everything by myself about 6 months ago.

The thing i’ve learnt from being social is it’s easier to get partner as one of the most critical decision in entrepreneurship is to choose the right partner. Somehow, a basic partnership is to find the ‘right’ other guy that can work on things that can’t do it by yourself because you don’t have the skill and or enough abilities to do it. It’s like you are a right hand and your partner is the right hand; you use left brain and your partner master his right brain. Or, simply you just don’t want to do everything.

That’s the point, if one have all the skills to do all tasks, then why should find a partner? The partner is in you, you can partnering yourself.

It’s not the easiest thing to do, but with proper skill and self respect, anyone can partner with themselves. That’s how the no employees company grows in the one part of the world and thanks to the internet, the trend will soon affect other places on this earth.

So, if you have a design company with large number of employees, are you prepared?
