Small Package of Goodness Vol. 1

I can’t find time to update my blog regularly in the past 2 years since my move to Jakarta, because here’s the thing with blogging, unlike tweeting, it’s hard. Embarrassing, I know.

Anyhow, here’s what I’m going to do to keep my writing exercise continue. I’d put some tweet-like things that come to my mind and put it together on a blog post. To make it, I don’t know, cooler perhaps, I’m going to put ‘volume’ at the end of each post’s title.

Whatever, let’s just try this out and see where it takes me.

– So, first. I was very ill and hospitalized 2 weeks ago. As a first timer that spent 4 days, I think hospital is a horrible place to stay. Apparently I had typhoid and, a super high glucose level it reached 440 (on my first day at the hospital). I can die that weekend. Well maybe not but this made me think that there’s a kid who needs a father. I need to stay alive. I am going on a diabetic diet and decided to kick out my smoking habit. Long this may continue.

– Related to my diabetic problem; Google touted a Smart contact Lenses. I was stoked until I read Om Malik’s take on this project. In short, diabetic patients and contact lenses are not match made in heaven. Case closed. Bye bye smart contact lenses.

– I don’t do anything smarter than watching action movies on my cable subscription in the past 2 weeks. Full guns and blood. My conclusion is, the most horrible way to die is to get stabbed. (I thought it was something more spectacular like killed by a plane crash).

So that’s that. See you on Vol. 2.
