Guess i’m just excited but i installed a Firefox theme! Not sure whether this will stay long in my machine but right now i really like it. Now the world wide web looks black. Awesome!

Well ok, as Fred suggest from my last post the best thing to start using Firefox 3 after installing is by having a clean profile. I did some google search and find this tip on how to create a new profile in Windows XP.

1. Close your Firefox.
2. On your START tab, klik Run then paste this firefox.exe -ProfileManager
3. Create a New Profile and tick Ask When Start Up (so you don’t get asked everytime you start your Firefox).
4. Then restart your Firefox.
5. That’s it, start with a clean profile.

Before i did this, i can’t imagine that i can actually live using ‘clean Firefox’ as i have depend enjoy my browsing life with a lot of addons in the last couple of years. However, after starting with a new clean profile, i realize that i only need 3 addons to get on with my life. Those addons are FireFTP, Web Developer and Roboform. So i installed those 3 extensions and continue my life

Now why are those Gravatars moving? Well apparently i need to tweak this blog’s CSS files to meet my new and cool browser standard

As a Twitter evangelist (follow me here), i always need to find a way to let me friends know about the site. You know, so i can connect with them. But, everytime, well almost everytime i ask my friends whether they tweet, they’re like, twit what? Then mostly it ends like, i’m too busy for this.

Just a quick update.

I think there are too many unresolved/compatibility problems on the fastest and the coolest browser around, Firefox 3. In my machine, this browser crashes like fat man eats cake, sometimes 3-4 times a day sometimes more. In the last couple of days, it crashes whenever i open Gmail. It’s so retarded, how come i can’t using Gmail? When i do search on the web, all i can find are different Gmail - Firefox 3 unresolved problems.

Then this thought cross through my mind, if regular unsavvy internet user want to use Firefox 3, how come they should browse around tech forums just to make their ‘cool’ browser works with Gmail? I think most people don’t need that.

I quit using it and switch back to Firefox 2, i hope they could fix this compatibility problems if not then the world record downloads are just numbers of abandoned software download, never converted into users.

I just did. This free domain provider (read: subdomain) is very popular in Indonesia. I’ve seen many people use this domain and i believe the reason is because it’s free. People like free things (I do love free things but mostly i pay to get more free things!).

Anyhow since the nature of .co.cc domains are free i wonder if anyone can take anyone’s domain just like that. Just like claiming email IDs, twitter account etc. So yesterday i took 3 of my main domains that i also bought its other TLDs and forward it to the .com’s. Just to make sure i own the .co.cc id so… Yes, so i claim it. It’s important for me.

At their website, I think i saw there are 323.000 more domains are already claimed. It’s not top level domain i know but in case you don’t want to see other people taking your name then you can sign up. It’s free so you got nothing to lose (there’s also affiliate program).

However, in case you are serious about getting free domains from .co.cc, the registrar also give you free DNS host. That means you can modify and customize it’s A, MX and Cname records. You can even use Google Apps with co.cc. and host your Blogger.com for free and even Wordpress.com blogs (you’ll need to buy credits if you want to use Wordpress.com).
