Sepakbola nasional tidak pernah kekurangan pendukung. Sejak dulu, mendukung kesebelasan nasional adalah rutinitas bangsa. Di piala AFF kemarin, tidak terkecuali. Tapi, mungkin jadi lebih kelihatan dan terasa dukungannya karena sekarang ada situs-situs jejaring sosial.

Sayangnya, dukungan tersebut tidak pernah belum berbuah prestasi. Penyebab tim nasional tidak berprestasi? Banyak. Silahkan salahkan siapa saja yang Anda mau. Tapi melihat antusiasme, terutama masyarakat internet sebagai generasi baru pendukung tim nasional, rasanya kita tidak butuh dibodohi lagi oleh siapapun yang terlibat dengan PSSI.

Beberapa saat setelah pertandingan final berakhir, Irfan Bachdim, salah satu penyerang nasional (yang setelah diganti, kita malah bisa bikin gol), ngetwit ini:

Sekedar mengingatkan: kita kalah. Jika Anda bertanya apa itu ‘kalah’ dalam sebuah turnamen sepakbola, maka pengertiannya adalah kita tidak memenangkan Piala (sebagai tujuan akhir dari sebuah turnamen sepakbola). Jadi, dari mana Irfan bisa mengambil kesimpulan bahwa ‘kita adalah yang terbaik sepanjang turnamen’?

Omong kosong. Logika tersebut tidak berlaku di turnamen piala sepakbola. Itu hanyalah statistik. Statistik yang bisa digunakan untuk menjebak pola pikir orang. Irfan, dude. Every game is important in Cup Tournament. The 2 that you won against Malaysia were not more important than others.

Logikanya begini, cara bermain turnamen sepakbola kan sudah jelas. Makanya, sebuah tim HARUS merancang dan menjalankan strategi jitu sejak awal, untuk memenangkan piala.

Ini yang saya rasakan: Hamka Hamzah tidak mencoba untuk menutupi kekurangan tim-nya. Tapi langsung mengingatkan pendukungnya bahwa: (1.) Kita tidak menang, dan (2.) (sebagai bonus) Minta maaf.

Jantan, kesatria dan mengaku kalah (wong memang kalah kok :p). Pendukung tidak dibodohi dan diberi mimpi lagi. Kewenangan untuk mendukung di kembalikan kepada pendukung, yang ujungnya bakal tetap mendukung juga. What else can we do as fans anyway?

Kesimpulan:

• Kita tidak butuh alasan lagi. Sudah terlalu lama tim nasional kita tidak berprestasi. Dan sayang sekali, pesepakbola yang paling terkenal di negara ini, yang memiliki kekuatan untuk mempengaruhi banyak orang, masih menggunakan statistik politik sepakbola generik agar kita masih terlihat hebat.
• Tim nasional Indonesia kalah dari Malaysia. Hadapi kenyataan itu. Didik pendukung, dan jadilah tim nasional Indonesia yang lebih baik di turnamen-turnamen selanjutnya. Jangan khawatir, Indonesia akan selalu mendukung kalian.

May the best team win. Come on Timnas!

The difference is, now i’ll blog in both English and Indonesian. And oh, i will rarely use sidebar, because once i dump the sidebars, i can post huge videos like on here and here. It’s HD video era, so yeah, dump your blog sidebar!

So you have a Tumblr blog and hope to get indexed quickly by Google.

Here’s how:

1. Sign in to your Google Webmaster account.

2. Add your Tumblr blog URL to your website lists.

3. Verify your Tumblr blog.
Copy the Metatag from your Google Webmaster. Now sign in to your Tumblr account. At Dashboard, find ‘Customize’ in the right sidebar, click it. Find Theme, second at top left and click on it. Click on Custom HTML at the bottom, then find and paste the metatag given by Google just after <head> line. Save and close. Now go back to your Google Webmaster click on Verify.

4. Submit Sitemap.
As Tumblr is not what we call self hosted website, we can’t create and submit sitemap.xml file to Google. But there’s a 3rd party solution for that, in tumblrMap. Submit your Tumblr login, then follow the steps. You’ll need to add another metatag given by tumblrMap, you can follow instructions on step 3 above. You can see reports on your tumblrMap account, associated with your Tumblr blog (s) Sitemap.

5. Backup your Custom Theme.
As easy as 1 click from the theme dashboard, you can change your Tumblr theme. But that also means you’ll miss the metatags you inserted, as well as manual Disqus comments or any other third party codes you had on you old theme. Backing up will make your life easier anytime you want to switch themes/

Note on Step 3 & 4.
- On what you submitted on step no. 3:
I still need to wait some more days to see what happen to that, as it doesn’t have any sitemap submitted, which probably later relate to reports for my site in my Google Webmaster account.

- Step 4:
This also means you are giving your Tumblr blog’s website verification to 3rd party, although they cannot control anything related to your Tumblr.

I bought the domain back in November 2009, but never had the time to manage a WordPress website for it. So, early this month, i decided to host the project on Tumblr, for its simplicity’s sake and because they have the best iPhone app for posting. I’m sure it’ll move to self hosted server sometime in the future. It should be, i like it better that way.

Anyway, this iPhone365 project isn’t a photoblog, sorry for that. A 365 here means ‘everyday’ to me. So instead 1 picture everyday, it’s iPhone Goodness Everyday at http://iphone365.com

But it was a cool Friday night, so nevermind…

I went out with an old friend, Rully from Suaka and his girlfriend Kat (we actually started – my first and his second – thrash metal band together back in 1991). So we went to this concert at the beach, and just before the top bands playing, we chilled at this restaurant at Kuta Beach.

We ordered some food and cold beer, and the owner of the restaurant are so proud with the fish they’re selling (well that’s fun, i guess), like this one below. Look at the size, enormous!

When we’re waiting for our orders, the owner showed us some other stuffs, like shark skull…

and other fish body part (i am not sure what/which. It looks like a tail).

And when the enormous fish become my Fish and Chips served in a huge plate, it looks like below (and it tastes soooo good!)

Then we went to the concert, and watch the band Shaggy Dogg and Superman Is Dead.

That was a cool Friday night. Cool food, weird fishes, the beach, old friends and freezing cold beers. Awesome!
