This is the coolest acoustic version of Everlong that i can find on YouTube. I love the song so much, so it’s not easy. When i tried to replay the video, it wasn’t as good as the first. But i think that’s what acoustic versions are all about. You should be there, watch & listen, because there will be no more repeated moments. I would die to be among people who watch this performance. But even my willingness to die for this can’t repeat that brilliant moment.

I’m definetely the stupidest Prong fan in the world.

I’ve just found out this morning that Raven, Prong’s bassist at CLEANSING era has of a suspected heart attack at age 46. That’s October 22nd 2007!! Before he became Prong’s bassist, Raven was a member of post-punk band Killing Joke, which was hero to Prong. Killing Joke had hits including Love Like Blood and Pandemonium, and were covered by Metallica and Foo Fighters.

Raven’s music career included stints in Neon Hearts and glam rock band Kitsch before he replaced original Killing Joke bassist Youth in 1982.

He left the band in 1987 before forming Murder Inc and joining Ministry, Prong and Mob Research.

My deep condolences.

Peter Garret was a rockstar with his hard rock punk band, Midnight Oil. He has been an Australian Labor Party member of the House of Representatives for the seat of Kingsford Smith, New South Wales, since October 2004. After the Labor Party win in the November 2007 election, Garrett was appointed as Minister for Environment, Heritage and Arts by Prime Minister-elect Kevin Rudd.

Midnight Oil was an Australian hard rock-punk band who were active from the early 1970s until 2002. The band was known for its driving hard rock sound, intense live performances, and its political activism, particularly in aid of environmentalist and indigenous causes.

MetalSucks confirmed that my childhood hero Kevin Dubrow from Quiet Riot found dead 2 days ago at the age of 52, at his home. The band was one of the highest profile in the glam rock scene back in the eighties. There was a time for me listening to Quite Riot and wished i was them (yeah, i was an air guitar player).

Anyhow for all old school rock music fans including me, his work in below video will never be forgotten. So long my childhood hero, God bless you…

We all know that Gene Simmons is lately become busier businessman. His Gene Simmons Family Jewel show seems like another hit from the Kiss legend. There’s a cool interview with Billboard here. Nothing’s new about this but at least you might learn from his success.

Just maybe. Whatever. The level of business knowledge by his caliber is super huge. If you want to be a rich musician, then learn from the expert.
