Another Viral Way to Get Record Contract

It’s not new, streaming your cool song in MySpace then found by record executives offering record contract. But this one is quite different. This chick Kina Grannis made a catchy song about Digg, the famous social voting site, and post a simple video in YouTube. The song made the first page at Digg for more than 24 hours (brings tons of traffic to her site) and reportedly brought a record company came to her discussing a record deal.

I am not sure how this ends but, independent musicians (anywhere) can maximize the power of the internet if you know how to.
